WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Tom Udall is inviting New Mexico college students interested in gaining legislative or press relations experience to apply for spring internships in his Washington, D.C., Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Las Cruces offices. To apply online or download an application, please click here or visit tomudall.senate.gov/internships.
The deadline to apply for positions is flexible, but students interested in spring internships are encouraged to submit their applications by Dec. 16.
"Congressional internships are an invaluable experience for anyone interested in public service," said Udall. "As interns, students will get a first-hand look into ‘the world's greatest deliberative body' while fulfilling an important role in my office."
All internships may count toward college credit. Students should check with their respective college or university for requirements. College students who are from New Mexico or attend New Mexico schools are given first preference, and students of all majors are encouraged to apply.
Inquiries may be emailed to internship_program@tomudall.senate.gov.
