New Mexico's economic growth depends on the success of women. And that's why on Monday, August 1, I'm co-hosting the 2016 Women's Career Success Conference in Santa Fe with WESST. We’re bringing together women in business, nonprofit and community leadership positions to offer insight and advice to women in the Santa Fe area looking to enhance their careers. With the number of women breadwinners at an all-time high, supporting women-owned businesses and women in industries across our workforce builds on New Mexico’s strengths and helps families throughout our state achieve the American dream.
Are you working to start your own business? Considering a career change or re-entering the workforce? Looking for networking opportunities? I invite you to join me at the upcoming Women's Career Success Conference. Forward this invitation or share it on Facebook or Twitter with anyone you know who might be interested.
The conference will offer women an opportunity to learn strategies to address today’s workplace issues and receive information on a variety of helpful resources. The event is free, but space is limited.
Register at tomudall.senate.gov/womenssuccess , or by calling my Santa Fe office at 505-988-6511.
The conference will feature speakers representing several career experiences. Attendees will also learn tips on entrepreneurship, creating a resume, interviewing and landing the job.
I’m proud to work with individuals and organizations that work every day to build a stronger and more vibrant economy in New Mexico. Special thanks to the New Mexico Museum Resources Center for helping to make this conference a success.
As your U.S. Senator, I’ll continue working to create opportunities that help New Mexicans find well-paying jobs and make their dreams of small business ownership a reality.
