WASHINGTON
- U.S. Senator Tom Udall today announced the launch of "The Udall Update," a public access television series providing information about his work in the U.S. Senate.
The series' 30-minute episodes will be released periodically, providing viewers with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into the nation's capital.
"You can expect great interviews, news stories, and tours that give you unique information about Capitol Hill, a fresh look at my work in Washington and in-depth analysis of the important issues that make a difference to New Mexico," said Udall.
The premier episode of the "Udall Update" provides an introduction about the program, followed by an interview with New Mexico's House Delegation about their first terms in office. The episode also includes an overview of Udall's new legislation to prevent drunk driving, with an interview with retiring MADD CEO Chuck Hurley, and a segment that explores clean energy opportunities in New Mexico.
Also in each episode, the "Sensible Solutions" segment provides a close look at a particular piece of legislation Udall has worked on and in "Tom's Inbox" Udall answers questions from constituents in New Mexico.
"The Udall Update" will appear online at
