Udall: $2.6 Million for Santa Fe Airport

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Tom Udall (D-NM) today announced that the Santa Fe Municipal Airport will receive $2,607,550 to repair taxiways.

The funding is made possible through the U.S. Department of Transportation and will be used to rehabilitate two taxiways, including the installation of medium intensity taxiway (MILT) lights and new signage and markings.

"This funding will help the airport make much-needed repairs to taxiways and improve safety for travelers on flights in and out of Santa Fe," said Udall, a member of the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee.
