WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Tom Udall recognized Northern New Mexico businesses named to the 20/20 Campaign that have participated in federal programs.
"The growth of these businesses is an example of how federal programs can help foster local job creation." said Udall. "I am pleased to see these programs having a sizable impact on our local economy and applaud the 20/20 Campaign's efforts to grow Northern New Mexico's economy."
Five of the eight businesses named to the campaign have participated in federal programs through the Small Business Administration (SBA), the Department of Labor (DOL), and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Support for these businesses has included grants, loans, training and technical assistance.
The 20/20 Campaign aims to identify 20 high-growth companies by the year 2020 in Northern New Mexico. Together, the eight companies selected employ approximately 270 individuals and generate over $59 million in revenues.
