WASHINGTON
- Today, U.S. Senator Tom Udall welcomed the House passage of his bill to authorize the General Services Administration to permanently convey the home of the Amy Biehl High School in Albuquerque to the Amy Biehl High School Foundation. The bill, which Udall first introduced two years ago, passed the Senate in September.
"The Amy Biehl High School is a top-notch charter school with a focus on college preparation and community service, and I am relieved that we were able to pass this bill to allow the historic Old Post Office building to remain the school's permanent home," Udall said. "I'd like to thank Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham for her efforts championing this legislation in the House so we can get the bill to the president for his signature."
